One in this comedy series about two young working women, following their humorous adventures from the s through the s. Laverne assures her that Johnny loves his public and will probably stay longer than expected. To their delight, Johnny exits the store through their department. The two then vow revenge. Back at their apartment, the girls see Rhonda reading a tabloid and are inspired to take their tale to a gossip magazine.

Mckean and Lander were originally hired on as writers but wrote themselves into the show as Squiggy and Lenny, which were two characters they had created in college.
